Our Ministry In Mexico:
"Training Missionaries and Missionette Leaders"
We are mainly involved in
leadership training ministries. Gary is the director of the Mexican Assemblies of God Missionary Training Center in Oaxaca City.
"CAMAD" (Centro de Adiestramiento Misionero de las Asambleas de Dios) started classes in September 2000 in Oaxaca City for Mexican nationals that desire to enter cross-cultural ministries, either within Mexico or to other countries.
Gary has also served as the Oaxaca District Christian Education director and teaches at "Alpha and Omega" Bible Institute, an Assemblies of God Bible School with students mainly from the southern states of Oaxaca, Veracruz, Chiapas and Tabasco.
Bettina became involved in Missionette ministries in 1996. Missionettes is an Assembly of God ministry that seeks to win girls between the ages of 5 and 17 to Christ. Sort of like Christian girl scouts, the Missionette program provides activities to help girls grow physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. After leading a group of girls through the honor star program (the first group to complete the program in the state of Oaxaca) she began to train other ladies for Missionette ministries. Bettina is currently the
Oaxaca District Missionette coordinator for the entire state of Oaxaca.
