Gary and Bettina Wornica, Our Ministry in Mexico :

"Training Missionaries and Missionette Leaders"

     The Wornica family moved to Mexico 23 years ago. Gary is the founding director of the Mexican Assemblies of God Missionary Training Center which started classes in September 2000 in Oaxaca City for Mexican nationals that desire to serve the Lord on a foreign field.  Today, 18 graduates are fully appointed missionaries serving in India, Peru, Spain, Africa and countries in the Muslim world.  Gary also teaches and trains ministers at "Alpha and Omega" Bible Institute in Oaxaca City.

     Bettina became involved in Missionette ministries in 1996. After leading the first group of girls through the honor star program in the state of Oaxaca , she began to train other ladies for Missionette ministry.  Bettina has now trained over 100 leaders and has started Missionette clubs in 10 new churches.  She has served as the district Missionette coordinator for the state of Oaxaca and is the proud mother of three missionary kids (Lyndon, Rebekah and Rachel).
